Myton Hospice, a Mad Cyclist and MCP
When we heard that a friend of our company was going to complete a 100-mile bike ride for charity we were eager to raise awareness of his worthy cause. In our most recent blog, read about why Mick Arms is not only going to join a charity ride but has also gone dry in July for Myton Hospice.
About Myton Hospice
Myton Hospice are a local charitable organisation that provide compassionate end of life care, ensuring their patients have quality time with their loved ones, enhancing their lives when a cure is no longer an option.
Myton raised £7.8 million this year to enable them to continue providing this essential care and on the 1st August 2021 see the welcomed return of their Cycle Challenge. There is a variety of distances that can be completed and their target is to raise £35,000.
A Mad Cyclist
Mick Arms has been a keen cyclist since he was in the RAF 30 years ago. He also has good reason to want to support Myton in their cause as he lost his Mum to cancer two years ago who received end of life care. He also lost his Uncle 20 years before that who received both hospice and home care. Mick is extremely grateful to Myton for the support they provided his family and to others and wants to raise as much money as he can at this event.
As a regular cyclist, Mick felt that the 100 miles may not be challenge enough so added to this by going dry for July as well, something far more challenging and even more reason to support him!
MCP
Here at MCP, we are keen to support local charities such as Myton. If you wish to support Mick in his challenge, you can do that by clicking Mick’s Just Giving page here.
Thank you for your support.
